I used to run serato through my old macbook, which has since died after my oldest stuffed it with applesauce.I have a 2018 macbook pro now and am attempting to download scratch live to get this bad boy going again. Do I need to buy a new SL3 box (or SL4 box if I want 4 inputs), and then buy or subscrive to the new version of scratch DJ? From what I can see, the old versions of scratchlive are available on the serato site still, but not compatible with the version of OSX that I am running. Can serato dj work with scratch live. Scratchlive is only officially supported on Yosemite or less.There is a way to hack it to work maybe - there's instructions here:But it doesn't work for everyone and it definitely won't work if you're on Catalina (catalina only supports 64 bit and SSL is only 32 bit).The SL3 should work although the boxes have had some issues with Catalina (hopefully you didn't upgrade) and only the SL3 is officially supported in Catalina.You won't have to pay extra for functionality on any of the boxer - the SL ones or the Denon one.
